Failure to Enforce Rulings Will Turn Us Into a Jungle: "Take Matters Into Your Own Hands".

The Reality: The Minister of Interior Needs to Visit the Criminal Investigations Unit in Mahmoudia

The Minister of Interior needs to check on how court rulings are being enforced… before people start killing each other in the streets.

There’s a woman who lives right next to Al-Zohour Police Station in Mahmoudia city, Beheira Governorate. She’s an employee, and she has a court ruling against her (a one-year prison sentence + a bail of 1,000 EGP).

It’s been two years now! Two whole years since the ruling was issued. The sentence was handed down on December 23, 2020. In just one more year, the statute of limitations will expire, and the rights of the victims will be lost.

I contacted the head of investigations, Kareem El-Khouly, and he promised to arrest her.
I reached out to Ahmed Hamdy, the investigations assistant responsible for enforcement.
I even sent a warrant for arrest and summons issued by the prosecution.
I spoke to Mahrous Ahmed, the enforcement officer, as well as his predecessors Reda Khalil and Tarek El-Qassas, several times.

The officer always says, “Every time I go, she’s not there!”
But when you ask her neighbors, they say, “She never leaves the house; she’s always causing a racket and yelling.” In other words, she’s home every single day, and her house is right next to Al-Zohour Police Station.

I went there myself to confirm. I found her on her balcony, shouting. I even filmed the balcony myself.

It gets worse..

She actually attended a court session for a signature authentication case, and her attendance was officially recorded in the session minutes (which will be published). And this is someone with an outstanding court sentence against her!

I called the officer stationed outside the courthouse, and he said, “Understood, I’ll go in and arrest her.”
Moments later, she received a phone call, got up, and left the courthouse… before the officer could even act! You get what I mean?

So, what’s next?
(Of course, there are things I can’t openly disclose.)

Before this, I had another case involving a man who assaulted a young guy and injured him.
I filed a report against him, and we got a court ruling. We asked Mahmoudia Investigations (specifically the enforcement unit) to execute the ruling.

But no one responded.

Until the client said to me, “If they won’t enforce the law… I’ll take justice into my own hands.”
He took two of his friends, found the guy who assaulted him, and beat him up so badly that he ended up with a concussion.

I thought: Perfect..
As long as law enforcement continues like this, society will turn into a jungle.
